Zendaya Cast in Web of Spider-Man Movie
Tom Holland is set to make his debut as Spider-Man in Captain America: Civil War which will be followed by his own stand-alone movie set for release in 2017 and casting has begun.
Zendaya, a product of the Disney Channel on shows such as ‘Shake it up’ and ‘K.C. Undercover’ has been cast in the movie. It has been reported that Zendaya is cast to play a character named ‘Michelle’, however we have a sneaky feeling this may be a pseudonym as there are a lot of key female characters in the Spider-Man stories including Gwen Stacey, Betty Brant and of course Mary Jane Watson.
Marisa Tomei has already been cast as Aunt May, a key character in any Spider-Man adventure. The movie will be directed by Jon Watts and the screenplay has been written by John Francis Daley and Jonathan M. Goldstein.
This will be the third reboot to the Spider-Man universe so we are hoping we are not being given another origin story to the Web Slinger. This is highly unlikely as the character will be making his debut all ready super-powered in Captain America: Civil War which hits theaters May 6.
