Wonder Woman Transforms Trafalgar Square
Over the weekend Trafalgar Square was thrown back in time all in the name of the upcoming Wonder Woman movies. Wonder Woman was filming at the famous monument recreating First World War scenes for the DCU movie starring actor and model Gal Gadot.
Buses and other transport was diverted with roads closed as the filming took place. Over 300 extras and a convoy of antique cars were at hand for the scenes. Filming took five hours before the sets were wrapped up and roads re-opened in the Capital.
Joining Gal Gadot in the Wonder Woman movie is Chris Pine (Star Trek, Jack Ryan), Connie Nielsen (Gladiator), Lucy Davis (Shaun of the Dead), Robin Wright (Moneyball, The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo), Danny Huston (X-Men Origins: Wolverine), David Thewlis (Harry Potter Series), Ewen Bremner (Trainspotting, Black Hawk Down), Saïd Taghmaoui (Conan The Barbarian) and Elena Anaya (The Skin I Live In).
Wonder Woman is expected to be released June 23 2017.
