More Winners at the CIFF: Alberta Spirit Awards
The Calgary International Film Festival is pleased to present the winners of the Alberta Spirit Short Film Competition, announced after a packed screening last night at Theatre Junction GRAND.
The series comprised a selection of 10 Alberta short films, handpicked by CIFF’s dedicated shorts programmers.
“The films in this package exemplify Albertan values while showcasing our landscape, crews, and stories,”
said Brennan Tilley, Shorts Programmer, Calgary International Film Festival.
“From the early innovation of CREE CODE TALKER in World War II to the hardworking woman in GRANDMA LEARNS TO DRIVE, this selection of films celebrates pieces of what connect us all as Albertans,”
said Karilynn Thompson, Shorts Programmer, Calgary International Film Festival.
