Twenty Twenty-Four Receives an Immersive Screening Thanks to the Vault Film Festival

Twenty Twenty-Four movie review

Twenty Twenty-Four is an award winning British independent feature film, that defies convention and pushes the boundaries of what a modern independent film can be. Director Richard Mundy’s self-funded feature film debut, more than holds its own against mainstream and large budget films. Three and a half years in the making, Twenty Twenty-Four is a testament to the creative spirit of its cast and crew and the technological advances of the digital age. Twenty Twenty-Four premiered in London at the Empire Cinema, Leicester Square, with the British Independent Film Festival in 2016.

The latest screening of Twenty Twenty-Four in London is going to be an EXTRA-SPECIAL one hosted by Vault Film Festival. Twenty Twenty-Four is showing at the Vaults Theatre on February the 5th at 2:30pm. This screening may be the most immersive place to experience the film: an underground cinema, for a film set entirely underground in a nuclear bunker. The film is also showing in San Francisco on this day, making its North American Premiere.

Twenty Twenty-Four Trailer

Twenty Twenty-Four tells the story of a lone scientist called Roy, who maintains an underground bunker for the coming nuclear disaster. But after becoming prematurely isolated, he slowly begins to question his own reality and whether he is truly alone.

Twenty Twenty-Four is a film small on budget, but big on ideas. Although it identifies itself as a suspenseful psychological thriller, at its deeper levels Twenty Twenty-Four is film about human nature, paranoia, the darkness capable in all of us and how this shapes the world as we perceive it. Richard Mundy’s immersive film is a tense and unsettling nightmare you’ll never be sure you’ve woken up from.
