The Penis – A Short Film Review
The Penis is an extremely short comedy film that takes a shot at sexism in the workplace. This is well worth a watch and at only two and a half minutes long this short film is not going to take much out of your day but is guaranteed to put a smile on your face.

We are introduced to a number of situations where woman (and men) can get ahead with the help of a penis.
My Opinion
This short plays out more like a commercial than a film, but an extremely fun one! It is a great idea and tackles a problem that is still as relevant today as it has always been. Watching this short film can’t help put a smile on your face, it is a fantastic idea that has been extremely well executed.
I take my hat off to Audrey Noone who wrote, directed and produced this short, as well as starring in the opening skit. Audrey clearly has an excellent sense of humor and has done a brilliant job bringing her story to life. These small sketches all come together under the same theme and deliver a clear message in a harmless and fun way.
Notable Cast
Most of the cast members are not on long enough to make an impression. Everyone seems to be having a lot of fun making this which only helps with their performances.
Audrey Noone makes an appearance in the first skit attempting to get a better salary with her job. As always Audrey gives a great performance. As with a previous performance I have seen Audrey in, she is excellent with her facial expressions, and is just as effective when she is not talking!
The three businessmen of the short, Mike Weiner, Chris Estes, Ron Young and Scott Hudson, who are in most of the skits do a brilliant job, how the managed to keep their laugh in throughout these skits is beyond me.
Steven Lee Day is also worthy of a mention with his great performance as the very nervous man who needed a penis to get invited to a golf trip with his colleagues.
The Verdict
This is a thoroughly enjoyable short, even at only two and a half minutes long this does a brilliant job of entertaining. I think it gives more laughs in those few minutes than some feature films manage in two hours. Another fantastic addition to the resume of Audrey Noone highlighting that not only is she extremely talented behind the camera and in front of it, but she also has an excellent sense of comedy.
