The Legend of Santa Trailer

In the year 330 A.D. during the height of the Roman Empire, the bishop Saint Nicholas walks out of his local church and sees a young girl suffering from poverty. Feeling her pain, Saint Nicholas gives her a doll he carved. Seeing the joy it brings her, he realizes he wants to dedicate his life to making toys and distributing them to children all over the world.

He sets to work. Barely sleeping, he creates hundreds of toys over the course of many weeks. Saint Nicholas starts placing these gifts at the doorsteps of houses in his town. One night, he is spotted by the father of two young children. Saint Nicholas tells him to keep it a secret.

With his compass mysteriously guiding him north, Saint Nicholas continues to deliver gifts to children all over Europe. He eventually reaches Finland when he realizes his horse can no longer carry him further in the snow. After a chance meeting with a Nordic villager, he trades his horse in for a reindeer. His compass guiding him further North, he reaches a frozen lake amidst the beauty of the Aurora Borealis. Immediately after stepping on the lake, Saint Nicholas and his reindeer are swept up in a blizzard and land in the North Pole. Saint Nicholas is greeted by the local elves who show him his new workstation. Several days later, Saint Nicholas and the elves start training the reindeer how to fly. Once they learn the basics, he sets out with his sleigh and his reindeer to deliver toys. Right before he is about to leave, a woman elf gives Saint Nicholas the iconic red outfit which he gladly puts on. With his reindeer and sleigh, Saint Nicholas takes flight with a sleigh full of toys.
