Davina and Mark are a couple locked in a prank war. Will they or their relationship survive the final credits?
Writer Victoria Muldoon told us that, as well as being influenced by Roald Dahl, Drop Dead Fred and Peep show, she also took inspiration from some real-life experiences.
“When my parents were newlyweds my dad put buckets of water on top of all the doors in the house. My mum was soaked as she walked through the house. A former work colleague bought his girlfriend perfume and weighing scales for valentines day. The scales stayed in the box and they stayed together.”
We asked Victoria about her experiences on filming the short and she had some interesting facts to tell us.
“The film was shot at the weekend last summer in my parents flat, and outside locations in Wapping so it features fantastic views of Tower Bridge and The Shard. However, I was sick throughout, I threw up in the River Thames before filming a dancing scene. It wasn’t pretty! I then threw up a second time so it could be filmed and became part of the film, you never know what can happen while your filing on location!”
