The Grinch Will Be Back In Cinemas This Christmas

It was the year 2000 that Ron Howard brought The Grinch to cinemas with his live action adaption of Dr. Seuss’ tale. Now it looks like Illumination, the team behind Despicable Me are going to be making an animated version in time for this Christmas.
Looking at a November release, Universal presented ‘How The Grinch Stole Christmas’ at this years CinemaCon and it was revealed that The Grinch will be voiced by Doctor Strange himself – Benedict Cumberbatch.
Director Peter Candeland and writer Michael LeSieur are working on this one and it is expected to be a lot closer to the classic tale than it’s 2000 counterpart.
Expect to find The Grinch creeping around cinemas this Christmas.
