I was never a Trekkie, growing up. My dad would watch it and I would immediately leave the room. However, in recent years an appreciation for it has definitely grown, for both the series and the movies. I think this is partly due to the new films being released. So they have had a good effect on me. I haven’t seen it yet but I’m going to the cinema soon to see it. It sounds great from your review, although I skipped the spoiler section 🙂
