Scott Cooper Gets Christian Bale and Rosamund Pike For Latest Project
Scott Cooper, whose most recent work includes 2015’s Black Mass and 2013’s Out of the Furnace is getting ready to work on his latest project, Hostiles.
Christian Bale and Rosamund Pike are both set to star in this one with Bale reuniting with his ‘Out of the Furnace’ director. The movie is set in 1892 and tells the story of an American Army Captain who reluctantly escorts a dying Cheyenne war chief and his family from New Mexico back to his tribal lands in Montana. Along the way they meet a widow whose family have been murdered on the plains. In order to complete their journey they must all accept each others differences and band together to fight off the hostile Comanche tribes determined to stop them completing their journey.
The movie will begin filming in July.
