SAVE FERRIS THIS MAY

On May 20 – 22 Chicago will be paying tribute to one of the greatest slackers of all time.
It has been 30 years since Ferris Bueller’s Day Off came into our lives and taught us that “Life moves pretty fast. If you don’t stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.”. Ferris had a very valid point, and watching this movie, even today, he can teach us a few lessons on life.
The Windy City will be pulling out all the stops to celebrate the most iconic “Day Off” in movie history. Chicago will be hosting Ferris Fest, a celebration of all this Bueller. The festivities will include screenings of the film, a bus tour retracing the scenes of the movie, a mock-up of Ferris’ bedroom, you will be able to sit in the seats at the Wrigley Stadium where Ferris, Cameron and Sloane watched the baseball with the famous “Hey, Batter, Batter, Batter!” and a recreating of the parade float along with a rendition of Twist and Shout.
It all sounds like an amazing weekend and there is only one way to attend …. phone in sick!
