Rob Letterman Attached to Dungeons & Dragons Movie
Warner Bros are pushing on with their Dungeons & Dragons movie and have assigned Rob Letterman as director. Rob is riding high after the success of his last movie, ‘Goosebumps’, but is also the man behind a number of other hits, ‘Gulliver’s Travels’, ‘Monsters vs. Aliens’ and ‘Shark Tale’.
Dungeons & Dragons will be using a screenplay written by David Leslie Jones. Jones’ script was originally titled ‘Chainmail’ and was based on a more obscure RPG.
The project has been on the back burner for quite a while now after the rights issues with Hasbro in regards to the property. But now everything is sorted the movie is ready to get off the ground.
Not much else is known about the film at this time but things should start movie pretty fast so expect more news sooner rather than later.
