RED CARPET TRAILER
RED CARPET is a crime-thriller that tells the story of Mandy, an aspiring actress, who relocates to Hollywood to pursue her dream of becoming an actress. New to town she crosses paths with a mix of individuals and experiences what the city of angels has to offer. Before long, things take a sudden turn and she becomes caught up in L.A.’s underbelly; a world of sex, drugs and violence.
The film stars Wittie Hughes and first time actors Nicholas Lee, Roshema Purfoy and Hair Craigs. Supporting roles are played by Helena Udy, Dave Holland, Slim Khezri, Jordan Destin, Jordan VanDyke and Maria Syngrou.
Writer and director Scott Altman, who we recently spoke with about his short film Riot Club, has recently been hitting the festival circuit with his documentary film in relation to homelessness, involving Academy Award winner Glen Hansard and Academy Award nominee Jim Sheridan. The documentary saw success at Dublin Independent Film Festival where his film won Best Short Documentary.
This is Scott’s first feature film after spending years directing and producing music videos for the likes of Kanye West, Shift K3Y, Philip George & Anton Powers and Jax Jones, that have received millions of views online and been Top 20 most downloaded videos on iTunes. Scott recently directed the short film Riot Club which is acting as a pilot involving actors Alan Ford (Snatch), Adam Fogerty (Legend), Natasha Byrne (Holby City) and new talents.
Red Carpet has been released on Apple TV in the US and Amazon Prime Video in all English speaking territories globally.
