Peter Dukes is Living The Dream with Dream Seekers Productions
Dream Seekers Productions is an independent production company based out of Los Angeles, formed by writer/director/producer Peter Dukes in 2005 to create innovative and original movies.
To date Peter has produced 17 films under the Dream Seekers Productions banner, many of which have been winning awards and getting international attention and recognition.
Little Reapers was named one of the top horror movies by Jay Kay (the Charlie Rose of Horror) and Horror Happens Radio Show. Harvest Moon Motion Pictures & Television acquired the movie to be included in the VOD series Tales of Horror (2015). The television rights to Little Reapers has also been picked up by Shorts HD, the short movie channel (2015), who also picked up another two of Peter’s movies, A Goblins Tale and The New World.
Speaking of The New World, in 2011 that won Best SciFi/Fantasy Film at the Burbank International Film Festival.
Another production from Peter, The Beast, received an honorable mention for Best Short Horror Film at the Los Angeles Movie Awards and won Best Short Horror Film at the All Things Hollywood Film Festival in 2012. The Beast showcased on Crypt Horror, part of CryptTV in 2015.
Daniel was nominated for the Rondo Hatton Classic Horror Award for best horror short film in 2014.
Sweet Madness appeared on the Top 40 Most Popular Crime Shorts on IMDB, pretty impressive going considering there were over 10,000 titles.
Dream Seekers Productions have received worldwide press coverage and their films have been distributed both nationally and internationally.
As for the future, Peter has no plans on slowing down. He is currently attached to direct three horror movies which are outside of the Dream Seekers banner. Two of the features were wrote by Peter himself and have been optioned. The third movie for Peter has seen him go in and do a page one re-write. In addition to this he also has three features currently being shopped around town, so work work will hopefully be on the horizon.
