Party Hard gets physical release plus streaming this month
Reel Vantage Films announces the release of PARTY HARD: A story about friendship, booze, and bad life decisions, directed by William Nicholas Clay.
PARTY HARD is a micro-budget feature shot in just two-and-a-half weeks on a budget of only $6,000. It follows Chandler (Hunter Bolton), who finds himself on a late-night odyssey of binge-drinking and bar-hopping with buddies Jules (Brian Forbes) and Ty (Ty Rowe). Watch the trailer here.
Inspired by the works of John Cassavetes, and wanting to create the ultimate “hangout movie” set in their hometown, William Nicholas Clay and cinematographer Stephen T. Canada wrote the screenplay and set out into the night with a small team of rebels and renegades to shoot PARTY HARD. “You’re used to seeing the same cities in these kinds of films,” says Clay. “There is a lot of talent in the city, and I just really wanted to give Columbia and its residents a chance to truly shine.”

Three years in the making, as well as navigating a global pandemic, PARTY HARD had its premiere at The Monetta Drive-In Theatre on Tuesday, Sept. 22nd, 2020. Billed as a double-feature with another local film (along with live music performances), this one-night-only event drew citizens from all over South Carolina to The Big Mo after a summer spent in lockdown. This allowed for a night of entertainment under the stars, as well as being able to adhere to COVID-19 safety protocols. The premiere was a huge success: It sold-out and saw the largest car-count on a Tuesday night at The Big Mo, beating out current-holder THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN (2012) by 35 cars.
PARTY HARD stars Hunter Bolton, Brian Forbes, Ty Rowe, Amy Brower, Elizabeth Jennings, Cole Connor, Justin Daniels, and Stanford Gardner.
PARTY HARD will be distributed through Indie Rights Movies in March 2021. The film will be streaming on numerous platforms (Amazon, YouTube, iTunes, etc.) along with a DVD/Blu-Ray release with exclusive bonus material that includes two audio commentaries, a blooper reel, and a 30 minute making-of documentary.
