Natasha Blasick and Martin Blasick to attend premiere of The Sex Trip

Hollywood couple Natasha Blasick and Martin Blasick will attend the Aug 24th premiere of the feature film The Sex Trip. Not only will they celebrate the film and their work in it, they will also celebrate the opportunity to work on the same project.
Ukrainian born actress Natasha Blasick (Paranoid Activity 2, Meet The Spartans) plays the role of insecure supermodel Alexa. Martin Blasick (Magic Mike, Princess Diaries 2) wrote and produced 19 songs for the film comprising the majority of the soundtrack including the song “If You’re Feeling Sexy” performed by Natasha.
Directed by Anthony Cohen, The Sex Trip is a comedic romp through gender identity in which a womanizing pick up artistic is magically transformed into a woman, and must navigate the world via a whole new perspective – as a woman. Stars include Frank Stallone, Jim Hanks and Chuy Bravo.
About playing Alexa, Natasha Blasick says it was “fun and challenging to work with emotional insecurities and how they affect one’s relationships, or lack of them.” Martin Blasick says “I really was grateful how Anthony Cohen trusted me to create such a wide variety of musical styles. I’m really proud of my work in The Sex Trip.”
It’s a lucky coincidence that the Blasicks worked on the same project. Natasha had already shot her scenes, and the movie was in post production when Martin got the nod. Says Natasha “Martin said ‘guess what movie I’m working on? The Sex Trip.’ We both love what we do so much it’s nice to enjoy a project where we both feel good about the work and getting to work together.”
In the unpredictable business of entertainment the Blasicks are enjoying the moment. “I think we’re very supportive of each other’s careers,” says Martin. “But it feels extra great to have done this one together.”
The red carpet premiere will take place at the Ahrya Fine Arts in Beverly Hills, CA.
