Hello everyone,
By now, I hope you’ve seen a couple of my movie reviews on this wonderful site.
If you’ve seen enough of them, you might notice something. How I never talk about costume design in films.
As a matter of fact, I’ve never heard or read any critic talk about the importance of costume design.
So I set out on a mission. A mission of critical thinking, and look at costume design in filmmaking as something more, as a purposeful element in moviemaking. A couple of youtubers, along with myself talk about how costume design is also a storytelling element, a powerful one at that.
So hopefully, by me learning you can too.
