As I journeyed to my local cinema today and sighed at the slate of today’s releases. Warcraft and TMNT 2.
Sad eh?
BUT! Midnight Special was playing in the corner theater, and I marched my way on to it, wanting to see it earlier but unable to see it, and
boy it didn’t disappoint.
Jeff Nichols is one of the best working directors today, Michael Shannon is one of the best working actors today. When those powers combine you are bound to get one of the best films of 2016.
