Local Reno Filmmaker To Release Debut Feature Film It’s What’s on the Inside (Agoraphobia, life coaching, and finding oneself during isolation)
Director Eddie Vigil V’s feature film debut It’s What’s on the Inside, an indie comedic drama, is set for a worldwide release April 2nd, 2021 via Amazon Prime Video, FandangoNOW, and Cable VOD.
The planned release of It’s What’s on the Inside will be the first time the movie has been publicly available worldwide. A special free live Q&A coinciding with the release of the film will also be provided via Facebook Live featuring lead actor Michelle Hinsberg and director Eddie Vigil V.
It’s What on the Inside is the story of an agoraphobic life coach who takes steps to overcoming her fears with help
from her clients and delivery guy. Michael G. Gabel, Hana Wu, George Triplett, and Maria Russell join Michelle
Hinsberg as the lead cast of the film.
“This film is a love letter to anyone who finds themselves seemingly stuck in a position desperate to break free,”
said director Eddie Vigil V. “It’s my take on the difficulties of asking for help while still being inclined to help others. Too many of us want to be able to do it all, but it’s usually not that simple.”
This indie film feels as relevant as ever with more and more people getting a taste of being stuck at home, receiving delivery boxes for all their needs, and likely having thoughts about who they want to be.
“My character’s inner struggle with her mental health and self-isolation is on full display in this film and my hope is that it validates anyone going through similar struggles because they’re not alone and there is hope,” said lead actor Michelle Hinsberg.
The very limited budget didn’t stop this creative team from pushing forward and making their vision a reality. This is indie filmmaking at its finest.
