Hurricane Trailer
Hurricane is a paranoia fueled dark comedy set in 1950s Cold War, about a husband and wife’s encounter with a suspected Communist.
Director Chris Dias stated:
Hurricane was made as a direct result of my own illogical fears of the growing threat of terrorism in the United States. Much like the Cold War sparked the same fears of Communism in the 1950s, the growing threat of terrorism can lead many people to “over-react” concerning these same insecurities. Additionally, some of the same feelings toward Russia and Communism as a whole have started to re-emerge and wanted to show that history is very capable of repeating itself yet again. Hurricane is a commentary on how those same feelings can cause one to imagine the worst in the most innocuous situations – even to the point of acting upon those imaginations.
So far three vignettes have been released for this upcoming short and we have got them all here for you to watch and enjoy.
