Two Cents:
Well, what can I say? Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, is brilliant! A near perfect space adventure flick packed with dazzling visuals and great characters. In vol. 1, we got the world building get-to-know-ya stuff out of the way, and now we can sit back and enjoy spending time with the Star-lord family. This is a superb companion piece to the first installment, and even more entertaining. The movie’s villain is certainly more interesting that’s for sure.
I’m having a hard time finding fault with this. It sounds good, looks amazing, and each character gets useful screen time. This could have so easily become a jumbled mess as it tried to wackamole each character into the plot, but somehow it all works. I loved the team ups and how James Gunn managed to perfectly blend several story arcs into a central ‘mission’ that felt worthy of this franchise. It also doesn’t hurt to have a brilliant cast with chemistry to spare.
Movie Prep:
It’s simple really. If you liked Vol 1, I’m sure you’re going to enjoy Vol 2. To get the most out of Vol 2, however, see Vol 1 first.
Best Moment: << spoiler! >>
My favorite moment (it was hard to pick one) is when Yondu, Rocket and Baby Groot, escape Yondu’s ship.
it is a good movie to watch
