Former NFL Falcon Signs For xXx Sequel
Former Atlanta Falcons player Tony Gonzalez is making the switch from the sports field to the silver screen as he is set to make his acting debut in the much talked about xXx: The Return of Xander Cage.
The cast already includes Toni Collette, Ruby Rose, and Donnie Yen as well as the returning Vin Diesel, Samuel L. Jackson and Ice Cube. This will see the return to franchise for Vin Diesel who was originally set to have the movie series based around him. Although he had been supposedly killed, it is unsure how the movie will explain how Xander Cage is still alive.
The series is looking to take a team of international super spies following in the footsteps of the Fast and the Furious franchise.
xXx: The Return of Xander Cage is set to hit theaters January 20, 2017.
