The Fangirls, Tiia and Satu are a photographer & a travel expert blogging about their film inspired adventures and other amazing journeys! They travel to incredible movie locations, take scene-framing photos and write about it all.
Tiia and Satu are in Calgary as part of The Great Movie Roadtrip 2016. With stops in Iceland, USA, Canada and the UK, the Fangirls are in search of the greatest movie locations these countries and areas have to offer. The duo will be spending 8 weeks on the road, visiting 4 countries and driving up to 10,000 kilometers. We look forward to welcoming the Fangirls to Calgary!
Join the Fangirls Tiia and Satu on their quest to check out locations where movies have been shot! The folks at Bassbuss will be at the wheel, and locations manager Robert Hilton will be on hand to give us the lowdown. We’ll be checking out locations in Fort Macleod, High River and more. Confirmed locations that we’ll be visiting include FARGO Season 2 & HEARTLAND. Get ready for a full-day of location visits and see first-hand where famous scenes have been shot in our province!
The bus will depart from the Ramada Plaza Downtown Calgary (708 8th Avenue SW) Sunday September 18 at 9:00 AM. Transportation is included with the $25 ticket.
