In a dystopian future where New York city is a maximum security prison, the inmates are free to roam and forced to live in a world of their own creation. When the Air Force One crashes in New York the government call upon Snake Plissken a convict and former war hero sentenced to life in New York. This one-eyed warrior has the opportunity to receive a pardon for every crime he has committed in return for rescuing the president, but he only has 24 hours to do it.
