DEEP IN THE HEART FILM FESTIVAL ANNOUNCES CALL FOR ENTRIES
The first annual Deep in the Heart Film Festival (DitHFF), a two day, independent film event held at the Waco Hippodrome in the heart of the Central Texas area, has announced its call for entries in all short film categories which include Comedy, Drama, Fantasy/Scifi, Family, Horror/Thriller, and Documentary.
The premiere Deep in the Heart Film Festival runs February 17-18, 2007. Independent filmmakers from around the world are welcome to submit their short films (less than 50 minutes) via the DitHFF website. All details including Submission fees can be found on the site.
Submission deadlines are as follows:
Just Missed Super Early Deadline: August 31, 2016
Early Deadline: September 30, 2016
Regular Deadline: October 31, 2016
Late Deadline: November 30, 2016
Extended Deadline: December 15, 2016

In addition to short films, DitHFF will also curate at least 4 feature film blocks. All access festival
badges, day passes, and individual screening tickets will be made available in January 2017 via
the festival’s website.
