Dave Bautista Set to Join Blade Runner Sequel?
Dave Bautista is the latest name to be connected to the Blade Runner sequel. The former WWE wrestler became a star in Hollywood overnight after his appearance in ‘Guardian’s of the Galaxy’ and has also had a role in the most recent Bond movie ‘Spectre’ as the henchman Mr. Hinx.
As is the way now, Dave took to social media to tease his latest role posing with an origami unicorn. The unicorn was an integral part of the original Blade Runner and origami was used throughout the movie.
Although nothing has been confirmed it is likely that it’s only a matter of time before he is officially announced as part of the cast.
Bautista joins a stellar cast that already includes Ryan Gosling and Harrison Ford, with Golden Globe winner Robin Wright also in advanced talks. Denis Villeneuve is set to direct a script from Hampton Fancher (who also helped write the original with David Peoples) and Michael Green.
