CIFF unveils Full Lineup as Box Office opens
Join us as we officially open the CIFF Box Office at Eau Claire Market and announce the Full Lineup of films that will be screening at the 2016 Calgary International Film Festival. As soon as we cut the ribbon, festival-goers will be able to purchase individual tickets to films, as well as the gala tickets, ticket packages and festival passes already available.
Executive Director Steve Schroeder and Programming Manager Brenda Lieberman will be on hand to give an overview of this year’s much-anticipated festival schedule. Although weekly waves of announcements have been made over the last month, there are still feature films left to be announced in the Headliners, New American Cinema and World Cinema series, as well as shorts.
Also to be announced: for the first time ever, CIFF will be having a Trailer Party! Taking place on Friday, September 9th from 4-7pm, party-goers will have the chance to see this year’s film trailers on the big screen at the Globe Cinema, with popcorn and Big Rock beverages on offer in the lobby. The event is free and open to the public. And to the media!
