Breach of Trust – Short Drama Review
What’s it All About
Breach of Trust – Vivian Tate, FBI special agent, has uncovered a Russian-backed terrorist cell on U.S. soil, and has closed in on them. Everything blows up in her face, when the unfortunate truth unfolds that a mole has infiltrated the Bureau, enabling the terrorists to be ready for the task force. Members of the cell were heavily armed, and ready for the drop. American casualties occur, including a number of FBI agents. The informant is also missing, and Vivian learns that one of her own is a double-agent.
My Opinion
Breach of Trust contained some great action scenes. Agent Tate’s skill and prowess highlighted her adeptness as the only female on the task force. One of the highlights of the film was Agent Tate’s ability to read a situation, and take into account many angles in a short period of time, being careful not to rush to judgement, but being efficiently analytical, and executing on a very specific set of logistical calculations.
The Verdict
It was nice to see the human touch evident in this film as was on display with the field agents. Many movies dealing with law enforcement contain interactions that seem hardened and soulless, but the emotion shown in the field agents for the life-altering scenario that transpired made it more true-to-life. The accountability and peace of mind sought out was appealing, and added a refreshing element to the story. It made Breach of Trust worth the watch.
