The American Short Film Awards Announce it’s 2016 Winners

The American Short Film Awards were established in 2011 by festival programmers from around the U.S. in order to recognize the best short films in America. We follow the short film scene extensively throughout the year and award films which stood out the most. The American Short Film Awards does not have a submissions process — all award-winners are chosen by the jury.
★ THE JURY ★
The American Short Film Awards jury comprises of festival programmers from a variety of short film festivals in the U.S. Select festival programmers are invited to join the jury each year. A jury member can only serve once, which helps keep the American Short Film Awards fresh — a completely new jury serves each year.
For the upcoming 2017 awards year, the jury comprises of: Melanie Okolovitch, Dean Abrams, John O’Hara, Jim Casner, and Michelle Gray.
