11.22.63. – Series Review
Another win for television with 11.22.63. Television has long become the stronger of the two visual outlets.
More character development, more screen time and more care to the material.
I used to see films to see all those things done in a short amount of time, but sadly Hollywood has stopped trying when it
comes to disguising their products. Thankfully, we can thank television shows like the incredible, aforementioned 11.22.63, American
Crime Story and Daredevil to stay away from the movie theaters for a while.
11.22.63 is of course an adaptation of a Stephen King book, which involves our lead character travelling back in time to prevent the JFK Assassination. If that doesn’t pull you in as an audience, I don’t know what will.
With earnest performances from James Franco and Sarah Gadon, 11.22.63 is something I can’t wait to watch again.
Preferably with my future family.
