Back to the Future is the first part of the Back to the Future trilogy, written by Robert Zemeckis and Bob Gale, directed by Steven Speilberg, and starring Michael J. Fox and Christopher Lloyd. Back to the Future is a Science Fiction adventure film, released in 1985.

Marty McFly is your average 1985 teenager, he has a girl, he is in a band, and never backs down from a challenge. Marty helps out his slightly mad friend Dr. Emmett 'Doc' Brown, with one of his experiments, a modified DeLorean, with one special piece of equipment, a Flux Capacitor, which is what makes time travel possible. After the experiment goes wrong, Marty is left stranded in 1955, and the DeLorean is out of Plutonium.

Not only does Marty need to get back to 1985, he also needs to make sure his parents fall in love after his mam falls in love with him instead of his dad. This has dramatic effects on Martys future and threatens to wipe out his existance in the future.
